1 . Hua Hin

Located south of Bangkok, approximately 3 hours car ride away, Hua Hin is a district that offers a long and beautiful coastal line with silky sands. Well known for its spectacular sunrises, Hua Hin’s main beach has a 4km of sandy strip that fringe the Gulf of Thailand.

On the western side of the beautiful beach is a verdant mountains and hills, quiet and peaceful.

Tourists often refer Hua Hin as the Miami in Thailand.

2 . Hat Yai

Hat Yai, far south of Thailand close to the Malaysian border, is a sprawling commercial hub and shopping destination. This city is the heart of south Thailand. Because of its geographical location, Hat Yai’s culture has a lot of similarity to Malaysia. Their floating marketing has a different vibe to Bangkok’s.

3 . Kanchanaburi

Kanchanaburi is a town in west of Thailand. It is one of the most beautiful town in Thailand. Some of the must-do in Kanchanaburi is to visit the World War II sites, historical parks and monuments, buddhist temples and outdoor activities. This town is known for the Death Railway built during World War II.

4 . Mae Hong Son

Mae Hong Son is situated in the northern side of Thailand. A mountainous and remote province that borders Myanmar. It has low population yet very ethnically diverse.

5 . Trang

Located at southern Thailand, It is a place for anyone in love with white sand beaches, island and limestone mountains. Trang offers a multitude of incredible attractions and activities without the crowds.

6 . Lampang

Lampang is located 100km away from Chiang Mai. Home to some of the incredible temples and traditional wooden house.

Most visitors visit Lampang to see the Thailand Elephant Conservation Center, and bypass the Lampang town on their way to Chiang Mai. 7 . Ratchaburi

Ratchaburi is a province in central Thailand to the west of Bangkok, bordering Myanmar.

The Damnoen Saduak floating market is famous for food, handicrafts and souvenirs sold from vendors on traditional wooden boats afloat on khlongs (canals).

Sukhothai is a province in central Thailand, approximately 400 km north of Bangkok. The modern town of new Sukhothai is the capital of the province.

Sukhothai is the origin to the Thai culture. It was once the capital of Thailand. This is the best place to learn about Thai culture if you are new to the country.
